‘Circling’ Marna Shopoff

Marna Shopoff is an Indianapolis-based Visual Artist with an emphasis on abstract painting and intuitive drawing.  A recipient of various honors and awards, her accolades include The Billboard Creative (CA), The Individual Artist Award (Indiana Arts Commission), and The Stutz Resident Artist Award (IN).  

After years of exhibiting work in New York, California, Texas, and Louisiana – she returns to Indianapolis with her first solo show in eight years.  Currently a represented artist with Ferrara Showman Gallery in New Orleans, Marna has spent the last decade showcasing work in print circulations, art fairs and exhibitions both locally and internationally.

With her return to the city, Circling gives a rare glimpse inside the artist’s creative evolution.  Featuring new, recent, and earlier work - the exhibition investigates themes of architecture, abstraction, color theory, and geometry – including both drawings and paintings.
